4 Biggest FTA Mythconceptions

- OH…FTA is simple -- Anyone can do FTA!

- Symbols are Easy - Knowing where to put them is a little harder

- FTA is the same as a graphical FMEA (i.e., all events will match up with a FMEA entry)

- This is perhaps the most egregious myth. "Fault" is not the same as "Failure".

- Who needs expensive FTA software? -- Any Cheap FTA, CAD, or Presentation Software will work, Right?

- Throw out all your wrenches, screwdrivers, and other tools and keep one big hammer for all your mechanical needs!

- Yeah, and anyone with a rulebook & a basketball is Michael Jordan!!
